Privacy
What we collect
Laws of Me does not require an account and does not run a backend database. Your individual answers to the 42 assessment items are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to or stored on a server.
Your in-progress session is held temporarily in your browser's session storage so an accidental refresh doesn't lose your progress. It clears automatically once your results are generated, and also clears when you close the browser tab.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites. We record aggregate, anonymous events (assessment started, reached the halfway point, completed) to understand how the site is used — never your individual answers or results.
Your downloaded results
If you choose to print or download your results as a PDF, that file is generated locally in your browser and saved to your own device. We never receive a copy of it.
Third parties
The Contact page is hosted on a separate subdomain (contact.lawsofme.com) with its own handling of any information you submit there.
