About
Laws of Me is a 42-item self-assessment built on the HEXACO model of personality, the six-factor framework used in modern personality research as the successor to the older Big Five. Six dimensions, seven questions each: Honesty-Humility, Emotionality, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Openness to Experience.
Most personality tests hand you a label. This one is built to hand you an operating manual: where your defaults help you, where they cost you, and what to do about it. Results are generated from your specific combination of scores, not a single dominant trait, which is why two people with the same top trait can get very different results.
How the results are built
Your answers produce a percentile on each of the six dimensions. Those six percentiles are combined to select your Profile, and the two or three dimensions where you sit furthest from average determine The Tell and The Laws — the mechanisms most specific to how you actually operate, not a generic summary of the trait everyone already knows about themselves.
What this isn't
This is not a clinical or diagnostic instrument, and it isn't a substitute for a conversation with a qualified professional if you're navigating something serious. It's a structured, honest mirror — treat it as a starting point for reflection, not a verdict.
